Artistic Expression through Technology and Tradition
I am a writer primarily of adventure, fantasy, and science fiction. Many of my works in this field are in the form of short stories. The major themes I express in my writings are:
I work with watercolor, oil, and acrylic paints. I also draw with pencils and inks. I use the Adobe suite of software to create artwork for websites and games.
Most of my subjects are primarily related to the major themes in my writing.
I am a classically trained guitarist, and also play piano. I write music for all string instruments. With my digital recording studio, I have produced hip-hop, R & B, classical, hard-rock, and heavy metal music.
I began my professional career as a software developer, creating software that interpreted signals from wind collecting equipment. I have sinced dabbled in a wide variety of software development technologies.
I sometimes take small software development projects to supplement my income. For this reason I work to stay current with the following technologies:
I have developed a series of mobile games for Android and Apple devices. These are available on iTunes and Google Play.
These samples are from copywritten short stories written over the past 10 years.

from “The Waitress” (2009)
Over the following months, she repeatedly saw Adam “at work” in the club, and realized that he felt many women there were the “most beautiful woman in the entire club”. Perhaps partly because of her youth, and partly because she was not American, she was quick to tell Adam how she felt when he spoke to her.
Adam’s response was simply to smile and look into her eyes, and of course deny each and every womanizing charge that came his way.
He always knew that since she worked in his “office”, she was sure to see his true self. After that, she would most likely not want anything to do with him, but you never know.
There is always a time when a person becomes weak, no matter how strong-willed the person may seem. Adam only hoped that he would be there when the waitress got weak. At that moment, his masterful charms would be no match for her.
from “Final Warning” (2017)
When he awoke, Jim found himself on a large crowded transport vehicle, like a train or a bus. There were windows but when he looked out through them he could not really see anything. He couldn't tell if it were night or day: he saw patches of gray light, and then patches of darkness. The closest thing he could compare it to was traveling through a surprise thunderstorm on a sunny day. When he looked out through the window he saw no trees, no streets, no cars, and no people; just patches of gray light and darkness.
The transport was crowded with other people, some dressed as if they were going to work, others dressed very casually. There were more men than women, but the sheer numbers of all the people made it impossible for Jim to count them all. Most of the people seemed to be shouting, some were crying. But no one knew why they were on that bus.
This gave Jim some comfort, because it meant that he most likely was having one of his bad dreams. Because many of the people were scared, he knew that he had to keep calm. Jim knew that this scenario would play itself out, so he may as well just wait and see what happens.
from "Outside the Box" (2016)
Steve sees a young girl sitting at the bar in a sectioned room in the far left corner of the club. She is the only female in the room and she is surrounded by at least 7 men in funny looking black suits. Some of the men even wear sunglasses, which is very amusing since there is no sun in the club!
But what also makes the girl really stand out is the fact that she looks so much younger than the other women in the bar, and that she has been basically staring at him when he was dancing on the speaker near the main bar.
Steve has always been an excellent dancer, which is probably one of the reasons why the security staff let him dance on the large speaker. As the only American black male in the bar he is also very popular with the Japanese women. Because of his athletic build many of them thought he is a professional athlete on vacation.
Steve decided, after spotting the curious young girl in the sectioned room, to go and speak to her. Having come to the conclusion that the men surrounding her were probably protecting her in some way, he knew he had to wait for the right moment to try to get her attention. He hoped she would see him and then leave the ‘bodyguards’ to go speak to him.
I have done, and will continue to develop computer software whenever I have spare time. I continue to experiment with the following:
